Extended deadline for grant guarantee for children’s and YA literature 1 June 2026
NORLA is pleased to announce that the deadline for its special grant guarantee for publishers of literature for children and young adults has been extended to 1 June 2026.
For a limited time, NORLA guarantees that translation grants awarded to publishers will cover 50 per cent of the translator’s fee, up to a maximum of NOK 100,000 (approx. EUR 8,300).
In addition, grants are available for production subsidies for illustrated books, with a maximum amount of NOK 20,000 (approx. EUR 1,650).
This extended deadline gives publishers additional time to apply and take part in bringing Norwegian children’s and YA literature to readers around the world.
